The eighth grade will have an all day class presented by the diocese pro-life office on Tuesday, March 4. The other students will have a math definition sheet that they must work on. This will apply to the 5th, 6th, & 7th grades. The sheet has between 50 to 60 words they must define.

Too many of the students have little idea of what a numerator, denominator, or factor is and this sheet will reintroduce these, and other terms, to them.

Geography
Will begin new chapter later this week.

Social Studies
Finish the Fredrick Douglas book by end of week.

6/5th grades will continue to work on test sheets.

This next quarter (winter), the seventh and eighth grade students will be responsible for a research paper in Social Studies. The topic will be flexible: any subject that we have covered or will cover this year in the subject.

Giving some thought to the specific subject, the student will consider, is probably an idea that he/she should begin thinking about.

There will be a difference in the size of the paper required by the seventh and eighth grades. Each, though, will have to adhere to the MLA requirement (the teacher will provide guidelines). Since most high schools follow the MLA format, this will be good practice for the students.
